History
Precious treasures is a private school providing education to a group of more than 130 boys and girls from pre-school to grade six. The school is located on a well developed 1.4 acres grounds in Discovery Bay, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands.

The Precious Treasures opened its door opened its door on February 1989 to two students in a residential house offering a program from nursery to kindergarten. The Primary school was opened in 1996 due to popular parental demand and the rapid population growth of Providenciales. Our first senior class graduated in 2001.

Our Philosphy of Education
At Precious Treasures School, we combine traditional practices with innovative programs designed to prepare children for the challenges of the 21st century.

The core curriculum is formed by the five basic academic disciplines: English, Mathematics, Science, History(Social Studies) & Foreign Languages. The curriculum provides each student with a well-rounded education and is designed to teach children to think, analyze, create, reason, question, understand and take responsibility for their environment.

Our classrooms are vital and exciting. Learning not only occurs on paper but also with mathematics manipulatives, puzzles and activity centers. Small class sizes ensures that every child receives individual attention, personal guidance and many opportunities for participation.

Staff
Teachers at Precious Treasures school are recruited locally and internationally not only for their qualifications and professional experiences but also for their creativity, dedication to excellence, ability to instill a love of learning and commitment to the school's vision.

Facilities
The Precious Treasures School is situated on 1.4 acres of land. the facility has 8 classrooms, a nursery, library, computer lab, an administrative office, and kitchen. The ground has a picnic area and a well-equipped playground.
